Paint your own Picasso wokshop durn yoga retreat in Spain

During the 2 hour "Paint Your Own Picasso" workshop, led by artist Silvia Rodriguez, you will learn the fundamental concepts of Cubism and have the opportunity to create your own artwork. Using easy to follow instructions, vibrant colours, daring shapes, and unconventional angles, you will paint your own interpretation of Picasso's artistic vision. In the end of the retreat, we will take our own "Picasso" artwork home as a memory from south of Spain.

Why this workshop? Picasso and Cubism have a strong connection to the south of Spain, particularly the region of Andalusia where Picasso was born and spent his formative years. The vibrant cultural atmosphere and artistic heritage of this region greatly influenced Picasso's artistic development. Through this workshop you will get to know the area where the retreat takes place better as well as will explore your creativity through hands-on painting experience.

The 2 hour Flamenco workshop, offers a captivating blend of live performance by Carmen Bejarano and Pablo Domínguez, followed by an interactive segment where we will immerse ourselves in the art of flamenco.

During the interactive portion, we will learn the basic flamenco rhythms, from breathing techniques to understanding the intricate counting patterns. Additionally, we will explore the dynamic footwork and other expressive movements that define flamenco. Throughout this engaging workshop, the live music of Pablo Domínguez will accompany us, creating an authentic and immersive experience.

No previous dance experience is required to participate; all that is necessary is a willingness to embrace the magic of this enchanting art form, which finds its origins in the vibrant region of Andalusia, south of Spain.
