There will be 18 hours of Yoga classes & workshops with Ieva Luna and Lizzie from Planted Yoga, as well as one 16 km hike to Sierra de Huma summit (1191m), plenty of time by the swimming pool to relax and unwind, meet other like minded people, as well as try out abundant, wholesome & delicious plant based cuisine.

Participant group size - 13/14 people to ensure the individualised attention and create a familiar, supportive, relaxed and friendly environment.

This immersive/intensive retreat is designed for nature lovers, yoga practitioners, movement enthusiasts or yoga teachers who'd like to learn and deepen their yoga and overall movement practice while being surrounded by nature.

Overview
 
- Pick up from and drop off to Malaga airport

- 12 x Yoga sessions in the open air shala (90 minutes each) overlooking the mountains and gardens
- Abundant, healthy and wholesome veggie breakfast, lunch and dinner made by amazing Olive Branch Chef Noan
- Hiking to the Sierra de Huma (1191m) summit, enjoying the view along the way of pine forests, El Chorro village and rolling hills and rocks down below. Around 16 km of hiking in total
- One surprise activity to be announced later 
- Goodie bag with vegan products and goodness



Yoga Sessions & Workshops
 
18 hours of sessions/workshops will include: Creative Sequenced Vinyasa; Mobility drills; Movement Exploration; Stabilising and Strengthening our Lower Bodies; Rocket Yoga; Safe shoulder, Chest opening & Back Bending practice; Handstand Workshop; Yin Yoga; Deconstructing more advanced arm balances and more.

Who are the teachers?
 
Ieva Luna - the founder of Moonlight Yoga Retreats, received her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training certificate in India and was deepening her yoga practice in Indonesia and China for several years. She has also completed a 12 hour training of 'Yoga as a therapy for Back Problems', 15 hours of Contemporary Yoga Flow training with A. Hocke and A. Husler as well as various workshops with Jenni Rawlings from Shoulder and Hip Applied Anatomy to Nervous System and Yoga practice. Ieva is also a certified CBT practitioner as well as had attended various courses on NLP and Communication.

Lizzie is a yoga teacher & the owner of Planted Yoga Rugs, based in Brighton, UK. She has been practicing yoga since 2012 and is qualified to teach Ashtanga Vinyasa Flow, and Rocket Yoga. Lizzie is currently training towards her 500hr qualification with Yoga London. Her classes are influenced from her dance and gymnastics background, and are typically playful and strength based with plenty of flow and soul. Lizzie is interested in navigating the mat creatively, designing interesting sequences that allow her students to find a moving meditation, linking breath and movement.

Retreat Space & Yoga Shala

Imagine spending 6 days in the nature, surrounded by mountains, rolling hills, olive trees and gardens. There is a swimming pool with sun loungers to relax and refresh yourself; open air training area that include bouldering wall, pull up bar, slack-line, weights; hammocks are set under the trees; communal areas with sofas, pool table, darts, chess and other board games, as well as the open air yoga shala with fairy lights and big windows. It's a peaceful oasis to unwind, relax and recharge. Night sky is full of stars as there is no light pollution, and each day we are gifted with beautiful sunrises and sunsets. 

 

Pricing

Price is per person for 6 days of a retreat: 5 nights accommodation, 18 hours of Yoga sessions & Workshops, meals from dinner on the 29th of April to breakfast and lunch on the 4th of May (breakfast, lunch and dinner on other days), hiking activity, goodie bag, unlimited tea & coffee through out the day, pick up from and drop off to Malaga airport. 

Staying in a twin room en suite bathroom, all inclusive price is £795 (sharing with the same gender). Three rooms available.

Double room (single occupancy) with an en suite bathroom, all inclusive price is £990. Two rooms available. 

Staying in a single occupancy camping tent with a proper bed mattress, bed linen under the olive trees is £620 (shared bathroom). 5 tents available.

Price does not include: flights (check skyscanner.com for super good deals from the UK to Malaga! Wizzair, Ryanair and Easy jet have good deals), insurance, optional activities (such as horse riding, massage), extra snacks, wine or soft drinks.

Logistics

Pick up and drop off is arranged for you from/to Malaga airport.

Pick up from Malaga airport will be around 15:00 on the 29 of April (TBC once all the arrival times are known). 

Drop off to Malaga airport will be around 12:30 on the 4 of May (TBC once all the departure times are known).

- For arrival we suggest to arrive in the morning or early afternoon on the 29 of April to Malaga's airport. Or to arrive one or few days earlier and to stay in Malaga and explore it's old town. Malaga's old town is beautiful and is a close metro or bus ride from the airport.

- For the departure on the 4 of May we suggest to find a flight later in the afternoon/ evening in order to enjoy the last yoga session, breakfast, lunch, swimming pool and sunshine! Last retreat we finished around 13:30 as the earliest flight was around 17:00 from Malaga's airport.

- Check out Ryanair, EasyJet or British Airways for flights to Malaga from London airports.
